Harlaxton 2010 Trip
Event Description - Harlaxton 2010 Trip
UPDATE: Harlaxton Trip Registration is now closed.
The Office of Alumni and Parent Relations offers you an opportunity to relive your Harlaxton Experience or to capture those memories for the first time. The trip is open to all UE and Harlaxton alumni and their family members/guests. The package includes a seven-night stay at Harlaxton Manor, educational sessions, day trips to places of interest in the surrounding area and other special events.
Trip Dates
July 2 — 9, 2010
Travelers should arrive at Harlaxton before 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 2, for a welcome, orientation meeting and evening meal. Special events and/or a day trip will begin the next day. Travelers will depart the manor on the following Friday following breakfast. A shuttle bus to the train station will be available.

Accommodations
All travelers will be housed in the Manor or Carriage House, where no two rooms are alike. And in true European style, they do not include bathrooms. Student rooms are furnished with modestly with single beds, desks, dressers/closets and chairs. Each room has a hand basin and shared bathroom facilities along the corridor. For the most part they are roomy and comfortable: students live in them for an entire semester. Travelers will not be sharing a room with a stranger.
A limited number of guest rooms are available on a first come first serve basis. These are located on the Blue Corridor and have nicer furnishings and generally a great view. Only a few of these are equipped with a bathroom (ensuite). An additional fee of $150 per person is accessed to reserve a guest room - $300 per person for an ensuite guest room. The availability of these rooms cannot be confirmed until March 2010. Deposits for these rooms still need to be received by the deadline.
Cost
$1000 per person
includes accommodations is student rooms; all meals at the manor; transportation, guide fees and packed lunches on day trips; and special events. It does not include travel to and from England and Harlaxton.
$1150 per person
for accommodations in a guest room and all other items listed above.
$1300 per person
for accommodations in an ensuite guest room and all other items listed above.
Deposit
ONLY Deposits will be accepted between October 13, 2009 and February 22, 2010. Payment in full will be accepted after the February 22 deadline and before the April 19 deadline.
Deposits required:
•$300 per person for a student room
•$350 per person for guest room or ensuite guest room
Payment in full due by April 19, 2010.
