Honoring Our Own - UE African American Alumni




UE will host the University of Evansville African-American Alumni (UEAAA) Reunion on April 23-25, 2010 on the UE campus.

Many great activities have been planned for all to enjoy. To view the full schedule of events, please visit the UEAAA Reunion 2010 events page .

Those which require tickets or RSVP will be listed when you register. Feel free to choose as many or as few as you like and partake in any of the on-campus activities such as theatre productions and sporting events.

Aces Men's Baseball vs Bradley
All home UE baseball games are played at Charles H. Braun Stadium, located on the UE campus.  Braun Stadium is located in UE's Athletic Complex on the north end of campus.  Parking for Braun Stadium is available in UE's "Lot O," "Lot P," and "Lot G" on campus, which are located at the intersection of Rotherwood Avenue and Olive Street in Evansville, just north of Walnut Street.

Evansville African American Museum Tour and Welcome Reception
Tour and Reception will include hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar. Entertainment will be provided by Monte Skelton. Will take place at the Evansville African American Museum located at 579 S. Garvin Street (at Lincoln Ave.)

Featuring Jazz music by Monte Skelton's Monterage, with appetizers from BJ's Catering. Cash Bar Available.

A Shakespeare play with plot twists including misplaced jealousy, a banished child, and a King’s stubborn refusal to listen to his most-trusted advisers.

Zerah Priestley Carter Scholarship will be awarded during lunch to a deserving African American student. 

Complimentary to UE students, UE alumni and one guest. Non-alumni $10.00

BSU students to re-enact the MLK skit and the UE Step Team will perform.
