Alumni Association Board of Directors Interest Form
The University of Evansville Alumni Association Board of Directors is made up of 44 members representing alumni interests. Each year, we seek new members to fill our open positions. Typically we add between 6-8 new members each year. We are committed to building a diverse board that creates a culture of inclusion and connectedness that represents alumni from all regions. The Nominating Committee reviews all candidates in the summer, conducts interviews, and selects the candidates that fill our needs. The slate is presented to our full board for approval in the fall.
The Alumni Association Board of Directors is an advisory board, responsible for engaging alumni and supporting the University. Board members are elected to the board by the voting members for a two-year term. Each board member can serve up to three terms.
The board meets three times a year on campus (when appropriate). Individual members are expected to attend at least two meetings per year (web options are available, but in-person attendance is encouraged), assist with alumni programs as needed, and be a donor to the University.
